Grits Casserole

2 cups cooked grits
2 cups milk
5 tablespoons butter or margarine
6 eggs, separated
Salt, to taste

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine grits, milk, butter, egg yolks and salt. Pour into a 3-quart casserole.

Beat egg whites until stiff, then fold into grits mixture. Bake for 1 hour.
